Halloween '26 - Who Will You Be?
Halloween is coming back to St. Vincent’s!
From the 19th of October until the 23rd, St. Vincent’s will be busy celebrating Halloween in aid of Children’s Health.
The Student Council have been leading this week’s events, hosting pumpkin carving contest on Thursday and then a big Halloween celebration on Friday.
Friday will include a dress-up judging contest, where students are free to dress up in their scariest costume. The student council is also planning a murder mystery, a quiz, a school walk and a Halloween-themed concert from St. Vincent’s Music Club.
“I think its important as it expresses our culture,” said senior on the Student Council, Heirvy Macalinao. “Halloween is a great way to express our Irish tradition and make sure its not forgotten … It’s always so much fun in St. Vincent’s as there is something for everyone.”
The week also marks Maths Week 2026, with a special Maths x Halloween escape room planned.
The student council is doing their annual event in aid of the Children’s Health Foundation, and students and parents can donate €2 online here or in school.
