Last Friday, our school had an exciting event called Jersey Day! Students were thrilled to leave their uniforms at home and wear their favorite sports jerseys instead. To join in on the fun, everyone paid just €2, which will go to a great cause.
This fantastic event was organized by Mr. Doherty and his dedicated Transition Year Class (TY). They are participating in a program called Young Social Innovators (YSI), where they learn how to make a positive impact in our world. The money raised from Jersey Day will be donated to the charity GOAL, which helps people in third world countries.
It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, team spirit, and generosity. Everyone enjoyed dressing up and showing off their favourited teams!
Good news! The link that was sent to parents for donations is still open, and there is also a QR code available on the school's social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
Be sure to check out our Newsroom video to see all the fun and learn more about how Jersey Day went. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference!
