Run, Jump, Cheer - Sports Day Fun Starts This Friday!

Get ready for Sports Day 2025 this Friday, May 9th! The excitement kicks off early as each year group shows their spirit in their colour-coded tops - from 1st Years in red to 6th Years in black. Don’t worry if you don’t have the right colour, bibs will be provided!

The Ice Bucket Challenge

The day is packed with fun and friendly competition: sprinting in the 100m races, hopping in sack races, testing your aim in target practice, and of course, the thrilling tug of war and teacher vs. 6th Year match to close the day. Plus, bounce your way through the bouncy castles and enjoy tasty treats from the BBQ and ice cream van (bring your own money for snacks).

Remember to bring €5 to your form tutor before Friday to cover costs and 50c to vote for your favourite teacher in the Ice Bucket Challenge. Stay hydrated with your water bottle and be ready to move quickly between activities - your form tutor will guide you through the schedule.

It’s going to be a day full of laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. So wear your colours, bring your energy, and let’s make Sports Day 2025 the best one yet. See you on the field this Friday!
