Where do Science and Art meet?

It would be safe to assume that scientists and artists often hold different views on everything. Artists are often seen as people who think with their soul, while scientists are often accused of thinking too much with their head! But like everything in life, sometimes we have to put our views aside and come together for the better good!

The new mural of the solar system by the science labs is a great example of this. The mural

(brain child of Mr Hanrahan) was painted by Tristan Orlic and a number of 5th year students, and of course, Ms Maguire (Artist in residence) was there to assist. Take a look at this short video of the making of the mural.
